Fashion History Video Collection

Over 5 Decades of Fashion Show Videos!

We created a collection of short historical fashion films curated from the Vidcat Video Archive. Each program documents an era of fashion, style and attitude by compiling fashion show videos, vintage newsreels and retro fashion films into visually entertaining educational programs. The video collection is an excellent resource for teachers, students and faculty to support and supplement fashion history studies.

The  Fashion History Video Collection is available for Educational Usage to universities, community colleges, high schools, museums, fashion agencies and all institutions interested in fashion history studies. Each video program includes a Perpetual Digital Site License DSL (no recurring license fees) and Public Performance Rights (PPR).

  • The Digital Signage License (DSL) allows for unlimited streaming for the life of the films. The videos are required to be hosted on the institution’s secure password protected server or on a secure third party server. The license includes Public Performance Rights (PPR) so the videos may be streamed internally for members, faculty, students and staff for the purposes of research, education, and any other non-commercial use. Video programs may not be publicly advertised, and institutions are not permitted to charge admission to any program screening.

Note: Films are available as digital files. Download links are delivered immediately upon purchase. Please Contact Us if you prefer another type of delivery such as DVD or USB flash drive.
